If you are an Erasmus student, it is completely possible that you will be in Kolej Hostivar. It's pretty far away from the center. I would say 45 minutes. You can go to the center by tram, bus and metro and train.
Bus and metro: Bus 154 or 271 to Skalka and from there take the metro (green line/line A)
Train: I have never taken the train to go to the center, but I have understood that is the fastest way to go to the center. It is near the tram station.
The residence is ok. At the beginning you won't like it but you can get used to, the problem is that is far away from everything. Another problem is that the reception doesn't speak English so you will learn sign language ;-) I'll attach you one youtube video where you will be able to see exactly how it is. It was record by one friend of mine.
The price depends on the month: one month you pay one amount and another month you pay another. We have complained about this problem but they just tell you that we pay according to our facilities in the room and not according to their state. But it is around 2.500 kr-3500kr, this is like 100-150 euros.
Si eres un estudiante erasmus, lo más seguro es que te asignen al Kolej Hostivar. Está bastante lejos del centro. Diría que a 45 minutos. Puedes ir al centro con tram, bus y metro y tren.

Tren: Nunca he cogido el tren para ir al centro, pero tengo entendido que es la manera más rápida para
ir al centro. Está cerca de la estación de tram.
La residencia está bien. Al principio creo que no os va a gustar pero te acabas acostumbrando; el único problema es que está lejos de todo. Otro problema es que la recepción no habla inglés o sea que no solo vais a aprender inglés sino también mímica ;-) Os adjunto un video de youtube en dónde os podréis hacer más idea de cómo es la resi. El precio depende del mes: un mes pagas una cantidad y otro mes otra. Nos hemos quejado de eso pero lo único que nos han dicho es que pagamos de acuerdo nuestras facilidades en la habitación y no de acuerdo con el estado. Pero el precio oscila entre las 2500-3500 coronas que eso es 100-150 euros. Puede variar bastante.

Tren: Mai he anat amb tren fins al centre;però tinc entés que és la forma més ràpida per anar al centre. Està devora l'estació de tram.
